I should start off by saying that my main character on each server is a knight. That being said, mages suck. Thier spells cost a ton of mp for an effect that either fails or does something so weak that many people dont' even notice it. Where are the rest of thier spells, anyways? I keep waiting for a mage to come out and do something flashy and\or powerful, but it appears that I wait in vain.
Mages desperately needed this change that was dangled in front of them like a plastic carrot, if only for one reason - compared to a sword in the hands of a knight magic is all but worthless.

B4 u start like that, u should know that in LoA theres no soft ac, then if u want an ebolt that make same dmg as erupt. then ok but NC should ask about 30mp more to cast it. Big improve ahhha dont make me laugh, most knights get para and frezze b4 they arrive mage, and magws on LoA have the same ac than any other knight, so having an ebolt of 50 dmg is like saying plz make all monster drop tsu and coi, in 1 month everything would be boring and a mess up. So b4 start thinkig for urself instead of looking for what its good for game, try to think it earlier.

I have a computer gaming world from march 2001 that on page 30 there is a full page add for lineage. It has a picture of a Death Knight and screenshots at the bottom of people killing, drakes succubus in a castle and on a boat so. It really caught my eye because this is the first add ive ever seen for lineage. so i guess the answer to the question is yes.......rarely
