that was good ikaris, well said :) some of the elven stuff is only enchantable to +4 anyways...even if it is made by elves(bracer, pgs, etc) and then knights get +6 item....not even made by elves.
also, someone said something about -8x/9x ac on a mage. you know wat kind of ac that is on a knight? approx. -5x/6x (may be off a little). thats a huge difference. plus, u know the best sword for a mage? sls - 8/12 dmg, undead dmg; or MB - 4/5 dmg, +10 to hit, undead dmg. best for knight is like 16/25 or something. maybe they should make a waikashazi(spelled?) or light katana for mage or mage/prince only. and i also think the rapier should be elf only. what would be really funny would be if they made pgs and bracer elf only, lol! see how the knight whine and complain then. but pgs help mages out a lot so i wouldnt do that......maybe just elf/mage/prince only tehehe.
knights, you have a t-shirt. its a lot easier to get too. most knights have +6 t-s anyways. everyone used it until recently and its a lot easier to get too. now elves have an ELVEN t-shirt and why are you complaining? bcz we have something you dont for once, BOO HOO! go cry to your mommy in hidden valley.

Wow all this fighting over items for classes...
I'm wanna join in.
As some of you may already know, I'm a knight hater.
Its all NC's fault I hate knight. Its true, someone
said earlier that every update there's a good item
for knight only. And some of the new updates for
other classes are well, just junk. Take the lvl 15
Prince quest...very cool looking spell "true target"
but that spell is not needed. Then knight get a Red
Knight Hood ac of -2 and safe enchant to +6...
Since when does a non-elven item safe enchant to 6.
Also lvl 15 elf's quest gets the 2 MOST useless
items in the game. Dex and Con helm, omg what u do
with these pieces of junk, feed them to slime?
And mage's lvl 15 quest get a nice INT shield but
its only safe enchant to +4...
Knight are already the strongest class but yet
NC still make more and more items to make knight
even stronger. No wonder half of the people online
are knights. Enough said... NC suck my **** again
and again and again.
Ban my account from this knight lovin game already!!!

I wonder why anyone is complaining. Knights can use level 1 magic @ level 50, and various pieces of magic from hom, but mages can use many good swords too -- like rks (red KNIGHT sword..) and sls (silver LONG sword). Hell, there was even an article on LC about that level 65 mage with -8x or was it 9x ac.
Mages are so much stronger than knights, but they are that much harder to play. I don't mean hit dmg and possible ac, I mean how much difference he can make in a fight. Good controls and sufficient level will win any reasonable battle; people who complain about mages' weaknesses just don't take the time to learn how to use their characters.

it cant use the old soms because they are not producing those anymore! why would nc add an item that is non existent on test servers? how are they going to test it!! lol!

go read Mutushi's post on templar about this its really good. He sums up diverstity in classes and nerfs by NC really well. But be warned its a really long post and kinda hard to read.
