Just so you guys know — June 13th is Friday. Not Saturday.
"It should also be noted that the provider has reserved the period of 10:00 PM CDT Saturday, June 13th to 6:00 AM CDT Sunday, June 14th in the event that they do not complete the maintenance during the original period. Disconnects are unlikely in this case, but again we urge playing with caution."
The above statement should be corrected. The previous paragraph has matching dates to days, but this one does not.

So let me get this straight, you have connections to Broadwing, the company that was bought for some odd billions of dollars by Cincinnati Bell, then sold last month for a few hundred millions????
My $DEITY. With all of the REAL tier 1 providors out there, why would you even use such a non-professional providor for bandwidth. $DEITY, no wonder all these people lag and disconnect so much. Broadwing can not do squat about their systems, there are no real hackers or gamers there at all, just some wannabe Microsoft Engineerers....
Hey, why not get real connectivity, call up TWTelecom.Net and get some serious bandwidth. A good 10 Gig pipe into there with a Sonnet Ring backbone, stuff like this wouldn't happen at all.

How often do the newbies complain that the events are no good for them? Most of the time the events benefit the high level chars. And now when they make an event that benefits low levels, everyone complains. I think its great that there is an event that doesn't just apply to high levels. Yes, it does suck... but if someone that doesn't normally benefit from an event can, then that's cool.
