I agree with Legolas4. I'll be putting my points into str/dex. I'm gonna go with double swords too...I don't mind using pots. =P That they're so weak in magic is a bit disappointing. QQ
One question about this article...how was there a Dark Elf with 8 wis when the base is 10 (and was 11)? o.o

These Stats are backwards. You can't have wis that low. CON 8, WIS 11 were the base levels before the update.

With the stat selections we have here, the str is capped at 19 for DE's, in Korea, it is capped at 20 now because of the added stat points. I guess some people don't believe that all classes have a str cap of 20, if their stat distribution points allow it.

Well, DE's can learn lvl 2 spells, so detection is not a concern.
I think I am going to put all my points into wis in my other open slot and see how that goes ^_~.

#16.. thats the kind of views that expect a dk set for 100a. Not everything should be handed to you in Lineage... Beagle morph isn't a bad thing, it's not as useful as DK or something, but they took it out of the game. But don't give everyone meteor strike.. etc... Unless there is 5 or less rings on server.. If 75 people have beagle morph, that isn't exactly unbalancing.

19 str and 18 dex is best.
and like i counted in previous article, a 8 con level 50 dark elf will have above 500hp with items, thats enough.
And i promiss u when dark elfs start complan, they will get to use hom:p and hom:c thus make up spell STR adn DEX and DETECTION. They cant make a class that cant cast detection, think about it. Well, they could if u consider blank scrolls, but still.

Spitfire, how will DE's suck for bosses when they will have the ability to have over 500 hp at lvl 50? Dex elves are good agaist some bosses and they have less hp than that at lvl 50. Hell some mages are good agaist bosses and they have even less hp...
Now that they made it so there are 10 points to distribute, I don't know which stats to choose...
I think I am leaning towards 19 str/18 dex because they seems to be getting better hp gains than most dex elves. 18 con DE's will be pointless because they will be weak in the other areas (str and dex) also because they will not have access to the lvl 4 or 6 buff spells (str, dex, and bless weapon) or the lvl 5 spell Greater Heal.

You can have 20 str and 17 dex ^_^.
You can have 19 str and 18 dex too.
You can have 18 con, but you would only have 15 dex and 12 str. That means you would be weak in what DE's are supposed to be strong in (sword play), but you would have plenty of hp (pointless stat choice = 18 con).
