maybe they should make it act like a quest item, you cant drop it. but its not "equipped" on a slot. this way u can still wear your 2 rings, and just doubleclick the wedding ring to tele to spouse :)

Ok can you imagine the fast MP regen with Lich Cloak, the new Mage Cloak form lvl 45 quest and then csom blue medi, like 100mp a tick roughly

Well considering that the translation isn't always precise on new items and considering the graphic they're using (Sure looks like a cloak to me) ... yes many of us thought it was a cloak. Having the +50MP would give it a great benefit over the lvl 45 mage quest cloak (and considering it's a boss drop and probably one of the most difficult bosses just to get to ... you would think it should have some kind of benefit over the other options) and you would be able to use it along with an ancient robe.
Also just wanted to say that until we know the stats of the mage that reported the regen rates ... I'll stick with my math (expect the worse, hope for the best).

i dunno about most people but when i hunt im underweight and allways use summons gettings cash for my knight 50 regain a tick means i can hit more things while i hunt and never be low.

That sucks. It doesn't even say it adds mp (the 30 at the bottom is it's weight), but even if it did, what the hell is the use of mp that you won't even have unless you're standing around regenning? Stupid.
Spells never being added and only MP regen items being added for mage is one of the many reasons I don't play mage any more. -.-

I rather have a larger mp regen
u can become a true mage and rely on magic
too many ppl who play mage seem to want to have their mages godly in melee combat
now we u have to compare the regen rate of the ancient robe and lich robe
that will be interesting....

+u made a great point on the need pots dvc? etc... that was well planned out
tho i do hope we can take it off OR have it on a different slot so that we can still wear out 2 rings...

if #12 is right and this mage isn't 18 wis but strenght... I suppose str/con then? O.o which means 12 wis? Just guessing...
But say it is 12 wis mage regaining that much, then DAMN... 18 wis would regain 80mp/tic or so O.o Would be awesome!!! In that case I'd love to have it... Who cares bout the ac loss? -.- I got +4mage cloth now O.o would only lose 4 ac... which isn't bad at all.
I'd rather regain 30+mp/tic more then have some extra ac, so for those ppl who thank NC for nother crappy item... wait till we see how much an 18 wis mage can regain with it O.O

imagine csom + lich robe + lvl 45 mage quest cloak + blue + meditation o.O
heck, with the lvl 45 mage quest cloak, you might not even need meditation hehe.
IF they were to make it so a mage could survive on purecasting, then i wouldnt mind the sound of the ac penalty.
btw why are you all surprised the mage ROBE is body armor when the cotton ROBE is body armor as well? ^^
