By the way everyone, nerfing natures touch is nerfing everyone.
How do us water elves help our knight/prince friends power level at a low cost? It's hard to be standing next to them at all times they need healing.
What about a level 45+ dobe that is being hit by a lava golem? Am I supposed to use 100 mp worth of greater heals? No damn it! I'm a WATER ELF... But wait.. he's on the other side of the screen... Poor Fido will have to die then... Or Tele and stop your hunt early?
This is why they can't have the range we are all thinking of. It's definitely got to do with the packet editing, and not for 2,3,4 cell (etc) ranges.....

The range is so you can heal people on your SCREEN only, because according to what BigPope said, there are ways to manipulate your game so you can heal a person in one location while you are in another, and apparently this is only possible with Natures touch, although I have never seen it. Sneaky but possible I guess... I've never seen anyone doing this and I hope to not see them doing it =D
But the range isn't going to be like two cells or three cells, its to make sure its on your screen... This is what I understand from his post anyway. In otherwords, this won't affect average water elves, it will only affect the sneaky ones who manipulate their game...

Woah woah shut up about the nerfing!
I didn't mean "OH MY GOD ELVES ARE RUINED! THEY HAVE NERFED US SO MUCH!"
I'm just saying, the most popular classes get nerfed one by one, just saying, look for more in the future, probably for knights.....
I'm not saying "please nerf elves, or please dont nerf elves" but I agree they may be a bit too godly- but its what makes the game fun...
Bottom line is instead of nerfing one class, they should give more features to the other three classes that gives them advantages over that 4th class in that area.
It is about time they make mages better, too... Nerfing elves isn't going to make mages better, it will just make it less difficult for them, while also angering elven players...

The thing that bothers me about NT is that they will put a limit on the range of the spell but keep in things like NT delay even after "Not enough MP" message and you can still NT corpses. Remove those things and I don't care if they limit the range to 2 cells. Well, maybe 3 cells.

next thing u know, NC will make nature touch delay 1 freakin hour! I really need to hunt. B2S delay sucks, what the hell is up with nc making elf suck i know i am a few months late with this arguement, but when is enough enough? NO RANGE ON NATURE TOUCH!!!!!!!

omg u people complaing about elves getting nerfed?
they dont! they got everything a class needs besides more then 1 summon
now im interested in this Poison spell though poisoning someone gets u chaotic immidiatly , either ur full law or not...
weapon break on elves....hmmmm.....
