Actually, I wanted Rock to do another one because there've been a lot of questions coming up lately about our policies and Customer Service. :)
I'm open to suggestions for the next one though. I was thinking of asking the Lineage QA Lead, but maybe I can get someone from Net Ops instead...

(#14) just because your too stupid to figure out how to modify lineage, doesn't mean everyone else should be banned for doing it. they should just block modified clients - which would make ppl reinstall, but i don't think its possible to detect skin changes. and if it means 80% of their profit going away, they wouldn't choose to ban the people. because ppl use darkness remover doesn't make them a cheater, it just means they've figured a way around having to carry a lantern.

And mort, every game in the world is like that. They all have NO client side-security, but at least some can prohibit modified clients from accessing their server. It just happens that lineage puts too much information on the client (probably to cope for the major lag their servers would have had with all the info on them), and they don't restrict the clients that can access the servers.
What it breaks down to is people just whining about cheaters. Who really gives a shit if someone can see night like it is day? Does it really hurt you when they use the lighthack? Do you suffer when someone disables the water?... people are too anal pretentious
