30k not fair? That is not that hard of an amount of cash to come up with even if you are a newbie prince/ess. You can even have future members who you wish to join your soon-to-be pledge help aid you in the cost. This is a great idea to put in, so we can stop all those annoying and lame tactics of creating a one person pledge to steal a castle, disbanding and creating multiple new pledge names to make it harder to declare war during a siege, and cut down on those who are not serious about making a pledge to begin with.
