If this is like the Heine event on Test, the event will start Friday afternoon and run through Monday afternoon. That's 72 hours of hunting the 4 levels of the Heine Dungeon. You will want lots of Bless of Eva potions (from vensor on Heine f1 in se corner) for the fourth floor (it's underwater). Each BoE lasts 30 minutes. Beware of the beholders on the 2nd and 3rd levels, as you can still be hit and killed while frozen by them (and they drop poorly). Bring lots of n-tels to jump around with. Go light to allow for picking up all the fun items that drop (cpm, kat, rap, mb, ecm, obom, obob, ls, pm, etc.) and think about using condensed potions. Bring lots of twigs or cure poison. Potions (and wafers) dropped like mad on Test, so you could stay quite awhile and you didn't need to load up on potions. There is a limited vendor on level 4 just south of the entrance. Expect massive crowding on levels 3 and 4 and lots of competition for mops. You may not want to morph so mops will come to you.

Go for Ratmen and Lamias on level 3 for easier and lucrative drops. Bookmark the entrance to the heine dungeon and print out the maps so you can get down to lower levels quickly. (You will have the route memorized soon enough, though.) Lots of good pickings on the floor of level 4 from those who don't want the heavy items. On Test just about anything could drop: SoM, SoF, all rings, all belts, amulets, even a tsu reportedly. I earned 1.5 million adena over the weekend, while others did twice that. I wound up with 2 of each elemental ring and lots of elven items to try to overenchant (ecm, cpm, rap, mb). Expect the results on live servers to be less but still worthwhile. Have fun! I may go back to my Dep mage and do the event again!

Ruben is correct though. I hunted in heine 4fl with my lvl 19knight on test with only -8ac +0nkat and in an hour i had a row +3pgs -42ac +7nkat and only lvl 22. You do not have to be rich or high lvl for this event. Very low lvls will miss out some but the majority of the populous will gain. I think it is a good event overall. I'm sure it will be watered down as it should be before it hits live servers.

yes iam ekz and u play in back of ppl....its a expression in frech , it mean u friendly with him but when he is offline, or not here, u say bad things on him...

Ok i got banned cuz i was selling items for real money....cuz lineage took too much time in my life before!! i have a nice girlfriend now and i go to cegep in electronik ( i have a life ruben o.O i dont post 24/7 on lineage forum. )

Ok i sold items for real money...where u think my +9b-tsu ( iam exekiel ) my ac my coi my money and my str ammy ( it was rare in the time ) go.... i sold it for money!!

I never bought items i traded items by server trade with a friend and i started on dep( only 1.2m) cuz its boring on ken when u are strong....

Iam ok! i got banned and i know it was illegal so i dont care!! i only lost 400$ US for my items on ken...but 400$US comon its not a big deal compared to money i made on ken =)) So now i hang out with my gf friends and i study....iam happy with that!!

For finish, i wanna say i had great fun on both server but.....ken server was more nice ppl...i agree!! they are more mature and they are nice compared to dep....but on dep it was cool too for fight and PvP...Ken server is a good server compared to dep in final.. o.O sorry for dep ppl

Amer, I know it's hard work, and it's time-consuming, but you or one (Or several) or your staff members should go through the Monster Guide and completely revamp everything. I noticed over half the monsters still don't have drop frequencies, and some of the monsters are listed to drop things that they no longer do. it would be very appreciated~

(I don't remember how you guys got those frequencies...From a Korean site? Anyways, if that is the case, you should just go look there again.)

with stronger weapons/equipment.....
ppl will be able to take on forgotten island mops....

I think this is just an event for test server and when the story is complete...
basically will lead to forgotten island...

cuz the treasures.....think of the goodies that forgotten island will have...
those treasures on forgotten island r hell of alot better to get than most items in the game....

damn NC in korea.....put out forgotten island already so we can get it finally...

and how ppl spend their time is their business....
y would u give a damn if ppl play 24/7 and u only play like 1 hr a day for example....
we live our own lives, shouldn't care what the hell others do....
unless some lineage players r robots.....@_@

last time i checked, forgotten island only had potions and sealed items/scrolls as drops... the adena and rare drops where actually rarer or somethin so i doubt this has to do with forgotten island -_o

Vail: I went through the Monster guide like you said and the following monsters have no drops: Blob, St. Bernard, Seahorse, Slime, Giant, Valakas.

Blob/Slime drop nothing, St. Bernard I fixed and Seahorse/Giant/Valakas aren't in game. I don't count Arena Valakas as Valakas.

Are you talking about the drops being purple? The only monsters with drops that are purple are the newest monsters (Episode 11+), which no one has posted frequencies on. We have a process where we collect information on monsters but to do that, we take careful notes on the drops of a minimum of 500 of a specific monster and then analyze the frequencies of those drops. So, all that is in the works, but you won't see instant results on the monsters you're interested in so soon.

As for incorrect drops, please email me with what drops you think are incorrect or missing.

Well I am glad to see events are getting underway and more common. My account ends in Oct, I just spent nearly 2,000 for my brother's wedding so I doubt if I will be able to keep the account open even i wanted to.

The arena thing would have been fun , but the game has gone in a direction I wish it hadn't. I wonder if Vemon's old crew is renewing... we all bought 1 year.

Anyhow keep up the great work Amer , and good luck at the event folks.

more items in economy = surplus of supply.

basic law of supply/demand says that when supply high, demand low, price plumits.

sure the items of the poorer parties decrease in value, but they use those cheaper items to hunt the same things the strong/rich parties are. in turn, making them stronger/richer.

to quit because you can't participate in the drop event is moronic. its like cutting off ur nose to spite ur face or something o.o

then someone said that you bought items for real $ (and i didnt know that it was true), 2nd post: "did ekz REALLY buy items with real money?" (i had to ask, people said once that I bought items too, when i dont have money to pay lineage sometimes ~_~)

if that is playing in your back or however you call it... i should learn a bit more english

btw, is there any problem in living in a 7000+ ppl town where 99% of them are 50+ years old? do you want me to play soccer with them?

There are lots of weekends in the summer/year, and the drop event has to be in the only one that i go vacationing....

If the event goes on this weekend, i'll feel soooooo unlucky......
