level 40 knight 1v1 level 40 mage knight wins
hmmmm...
don't think so
knight runs up to mage
mage para or cancel/slow the knight
knight is virtually useless
mage uses summons and beats the knight to death as the knight is para
I think it is the fact that too many ppl in the game, rely on mages to be melee
I mean
what kind of mages r u ppl making?
most important to me is int, then wis, then con.....
bet the ppl bitching r str/con mages since they really suck with magic and have to go melee in battle
hell, if u want your mage to go fight melee so badly, go get -6x or -7x AC for your mage, difficult to do, but it is possible and u'll be hunting melee alot
even on my elf, with 75% MR, an 18 int mage still has high chances of para/slowing me, I had it happen to me by pkers, int is the key for mages to be powerhouse killers
like y r mages the FS sucide killers in sieges? ppl who go to big sieges seen them before, they rape the frontline of elves with ease and burn them into nothing but blood spilling on the ground
10 knights vs 10 mages
mages will definitely fight
unless none of the mages r int
then u're all fucked
if u can manage some decent -4x or -5x AC, u can definitely hunt without much problems
but like every game, there is always ppl who bitch about everything cuz they WANT everything to be perfect for the characters they play

bah, your biased opinions mean nothing :P
I've got -1 ac and 2 dex on him now :)
on a side note, I could have -10 more ac than Chrys, and 5 more lvls, he will still be a far greater player than me. he's had to work twice as hard as me to get to the same place. I sure as hell wouldn't have been able to get this far if I had as many lag/dc deaths as he did, or bad luck blowing +5 ac with bzels.
