New monsters coming soon?

Nue of Nue's Lineage discovered some new monsters among recent Korean Server updates. These monsters are rumored to be part of new quests soon to be announced. The Spirits are allegedly part of a new Elven quest, and I have no idea what the new ants are for..

Not that ant queen isn't strong now lol.

Well i would geus after looking at the spirit sprites it could be the new elementals: i.e. fire and earth elemental (hope so!)

Maybe the mutated mops are new mops for the newbies, I mean there are already mops in the newbie dungeons that are "mutated" and yeah maybe the spirt of earth and fire are the summons for elves or maybe what drops the summons crystals

@Imaelf: Yeah, sounds logical!

But where they will put the mutated ant queen? There are already boss monsters in the dungeons. Also they could be for FI, I can't remember I read something about a dungeon there, and it still didn't go to live.

I really hope they are the summoned elementals for the elf. If you get the crystals in a quest items they must be the lower ones. Weeee! I wanna see the higher!
(omg, let they be strong, they have to compensate 3 dogs :))

but if we need to kill a overgrown and beef-ed up like crazy "mutated" ant queen for just a summon gem...maybe it's not worth it +.+ since u can only summon 1 elemental regardless of charisma ~~...

These look like they could be from a new dungeon of mutated mops.....
My guesses r...some wizard was experimenting and created these mops....
they look cool....even though it is only a change of colour from the original ones.....
maybe they got new attacks and movement.....
Would be really cool if the mutated ant queen actually flies...it goes have wings...
Or what iamelf said....more newbie stuff....as they already got enough....
Will be interesting to see if they will actually be in the game or not....

those spirits look like ghost with a solid body...
thought they would at least be creative and make each spirit look unique instead of the same character with different colours....

mutated mops i have a guess where they are comming:
before u read this go to oasis ask about nearby territories
then silver knight town
i think they will come in ant tower i saw a pic of a ant gatekeeper
somwhere on compendium too i think it will be part of episode 11
i hope they drop good >< but i think they low lvl look at mutated aligator
hes lvl 5 or somphing maybee it will be a new newb dungeon close to skt
with a newb boss mutated giant ant queen

the spirit element things look like ghost ><

I think probally FI or HV/SI/SKT/TI. What ever happend to TI being an newbie place to hunt? Never seen a 10th lvl Prince with 5ac and +0C-Scimitar take out a group of Lyca and WWS -__-;; It was good place to hunt for crazy money on test at level 49 ^__^

i hope they arnt weaker versions of there counterparts, cause it would be nice to have more strong mops to kill, cause teh selection that we have is very small. wish they would come up with some other model for the spirts besides a diffent color of ghost

If the the spirits are quest items, that will kinda of suck. Being that so far all quest items are one time things, if you have your summon and want to change your element what happens then? u have no more summon since u can't do quest again to get the elemental of the new one u picked!

I'll try to find it, but yes, I distinctly remember something called the Ant Tower a little bit back. I'm guessing these will be there.

And that's a good guess that the elements are quest related. Those look like them.

Maybe the Mutated Ants are mutations of the ants, but by nature. Like the ants are evolving or something? Because there are red ants in real life...why not red ants in lineage? These will probably have a nasty paralyze poison...

guessing it will be in a desert or they will open another part of the world...expanding the size of the lineage world

Lethalbow....I believe that summon elemental is non-elemental spell for elves to learn.....meaning.....no matter if u change your element....u will always have that spell...so u can play around with the elemental summons to see which is better.....hehe
and looking at the new quests....they r pretty hard to get the materials except for the knight of course.....so my guesses r...the new elven quest to get summon elementals will be challenging and not easily obtained...

we'll just have to see when this all comes in.....

episode 12 will be interesting indeed.....

sadly...if u look at the elven magic guide in the help menu in game (F1)
it says that even though the summon elemental is in the common line, the spell will be un-learned when changing lines due to its nature of specializing in a specific line...

so..unless u are sure of ur line, DONT learn the summon gem +.+..

Now what i think would be really cool would be that the new ants arn't mutated they are red ants and they will war with the giant ants that are in right now, which i think would be really cool. for the soul reason that if one of the ants kill each other and they get the drops and if one side starts winning then you would see alot more of the winning type. with the new queen in then they could make it every so often the 2 of them could battle it out and see if their side is stronger then the other. and the winner would get the drops of the other or they would just disapper. now i think that would be the best thing that they could put in to lineage.

Thats more of what i'm talking about for example if one side is winning then you could kill all of the winning side so that they start to lose and balance things out more. The one thing i didn't touch on was the elven summons. for one i think that they will be a new and powerful tool for the elf but......the elf is already to strong other then the soft ac they have high mr and they can use 3-4 dogs to help hunt and if your on dep/test you can use those dogs to help pk. and now they are giveing them a new summon without helping the mage out first. i think that the mage is being nerfed all around first was the fix in str and dex then the dex/ac update then soft ac now no som unless you already have one they haven't even put all the spells in yet. another thing is that mages have no lvl 50+ bonus which they should put in befor most other things even if it is that mages get a stat point at lvl 50 and the other classes don't. for one i think that the mage is a pointless class right now because people have no incentive to play a mage. now if they put all the spells in and they droped more often then they do now there would be more incentive for people to play mages. they could just make summons stronger for example incress the lvl of them all and give them more hp and ac now that would help out alot. or give mages gloves like pgs that add to wisdom or int. or an amulet that add to mp or sp. there i'm done my rant now ^_^

besides...mage armors are cheapest from all classes.. wow! mageset!...--;
atleast other classes would not spent a huge amount of money to get a good armor such as EPM...unless u're talkign about DSM...
NC should atleast put back SOM and boost some mage ac up..even tho i dont ply mage ne more but i still agree...need mage someday to make money..o.o

More stuff for Elves...Just what they need. Like they don't already have everything. How about something for a Class that needs it? I wish NC would stop being lazy. I'm tired of all these Monsters/Items that look the same as other Monsters/Items already in the game. On top of that, a new animation for Arachnevil Elders and Ghouls would be nice. They should make Spartoi versions of the DV Skeletons.

Yes !!!!!! Elves finally have a change to own high level knights... cuz on test like 3 elves can beat level 45+ knights with -5x ac....

if u summon 4 of those Wind elements..... knight wil end/venz so fast....

i hope they are here soon !!!!!
