i bet they made those newb arenas safety zones because vets were making newb chars with good stuff and killing others to ruin their DM, or because the vet wanted to power lvl his newb char and didnt want there to be other competitors o.o (this might not be true on US servers, mind you)

This falls in with the small number of essential updates NCSoft has actually implemented. Now if only they would move faster. How about allowing archers to shoot over objects that are shoulder high or lower? I dislike having shots blocked by rocks buryed three feet in the ground, or by shrubs that come up to my character's knee.
