Etikilam, I'm sorry, I am still laughing.... "level 10 newbie" lol... hehe, oh, man... brings a tear to my eye...
I have been playing this game far to long to be considered a newbie. Certainly not as long as some, but long enough. I have been on LoA since it went live. I was level 10 in the first couple of hours of it going live (who wasn't?). I was on Dep for a year prior to that.
Mages have been nerfed to a degree that their spells no longer own enough. Elves aren't very affective in melee combat, when you compare against a knight of the same level. I am not saying that the Bume gives the knights an unfair advantage, I am just stating my opinion that I do not feel the knights should get a weapon that naturally procs with a magic spell that remotely resembles a spell not available for mages. I just don't think this weapon should be knight specific, especially when they have Thor's Hammer as well, that is for all classes.
I would also like to state my opinion that I think LoA is the better of the US servers.

Etikilam.. just to let you know.. Tamashii is a lvl 48 prince on LoA who runs the HANDofGOD BP. I have been in his BP since he started it on Dep over a year ago. We have been on LoA since it went live and to say it is messed up points to you being one of the many who play knights because they have all the good stuff and are the elite at leveling. In your statement you say that Mage spells do own and Elves do beat knights. I read two things from this statement. First thing is you dont even mention Princes, that screwed over class on all servers. Second thing is your tone indicates you feel that Knights should own everything? Elves shouldnt ever be able to defeat a knight? Mage spells shouldnt own? So I assume that Knights spells should own, and elves arrows should bounce off the chest of all knights, and Knights should be able to overthrough their Prince and take over the BP's?

Ok, I play a Mage.. always have and always will. I think giving the Knights a cool item that procs spells is a neat idea. Its been done before in many RPG's and I dont have a problem with it in this game. Now.. with that said I would like to say that I DO have a problem with a weapon that casts a spell that has been teasing every mage in the game since release. With the release of this item there should have been the release of a SB for the actual spell for the Mages.
On a side note, it would be cool if NC made it so that Mages could "Enchant" weapons and armor like we do the blank scroll. 100k and I can Enchant your weapon so that it casts sunburst or cancel or something on a 5% chance just like these new weapons. And for armor.. wouldnt a BP that has a chance of casting Greater Heal when you get hit be worth a few mil? LOL... ok.. I am done dreaming. But seriously, stop yelling that these spells arnt in game for balancing reasons when there is obvious issues with the Knights. Just look at the 50+ stats and you can see there is an obvious overbalance there. When the majority of players favor one class over all the others it SHOULD show that something is out of order.
Ok.. done ranting... lol

tamashii, I know you where being sarcastic. If you played loa, really played it and not playing it as a level 10 newbie, then you would know how messed up things are on loa. Mage spells do own. Elves do beat knights. If you think a 8/9, really rare/hard to get weapon, gives knights some unfair advatange then your out of your mind.

Tairal - I was using the orchish bume as an example and as a general representation of things put in place in favor of knights. I do not see a trend - on any server - that suggests the knight class is getting screwed. Regardless that Dlirk is on Dep, the weapon exists for the knights on LoA. There are also other issues that are on all servers that make me feel the knight class is not being screwed. The bume is just the newest in the line.
Dazaran - I do not believe I said the knight class never gets nerfed, I just find them to be catered to at a higher percentage than the other classes. I also did not say the Bume was the best weapon in the game for any class, or for the knight class for that matter. I simply stated that the knights are getting a weapon that seems a bit advantageous in the entire lineup of weapons overall. Yes, Thor's Hammer is for ALL classes, but that only means the knights now get two such weapons that proc in such a way. As for braves - I still see them sold and I sell them for 400-500 adena. This is not to say they do not get sold for higher amounts, just that I have yet to see that as the new price for them. I understood you were being sarcastic in the first part of the paragraph.

Prince item is nice only its weight is bad. And an item that cannot be stored will be disadvantage because of weight. 14/14 will be nice to use on drakes o.o or deuls. :)

it's a cool idea, but do you know what would be a better idea than a weapon for knights that casts Meteor Strike? a spellbook that TEACHES Meteor Strike. to MAGES. hmmmmm. good idea!
