Ahh.. hello Lindvior, yes I have seen you out hunting. And I know Kirby from a few hunts we have done together. I agree that on LoA the Mage can actualy be a mage and with a good Int you can get your spells off on even a higher MR char. But you must understand a Mage before you critique one. A Mage is supposed to be the master of "Direct Damage" doing far and beyond anything the other classes can dish out, BUT... at a cost. For starters no mana = dead mage. Anything gets close enough to hit the mage.. OWCH.. we dont have many HP at all. My friend Lithius (48 Con Knight) can take my HP from max (390 hp at lvl 48) down to 50hp before I can get off 3 tries with my Para. And he resists me fairly well on LoA. Granted if I get that para off he is dead, but thats what being a mage is all about. Its an all or nothing deal with mages. You either blast the mop into the great beyond or you end up on the end of a sharp pointed stick being roasted on some Ogre's fire. I play LoA because out of all the servers I can play my mage the way its ment to be played. Knights Own at killing stuff fast.. just look at all the 50+ Knights out there.. you cant argue with those numbers. No other class kills bosses like the Knight can. I have to call for my knight friends everytime I want to head boss hunting, because I just cant take the hits like a knight can.
PS: I will have to remember the FS at Drake spawn.. lol.. I never get drops so maybe I finaly will. ^^
