11/13 - LoA Server updates
NC - Austin announces (http://boards.lineage-us.com/cgi-bin/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=LoA&Number=255399) the following changes to the LoA Server:
  1. Skeleton Boots are non-transferrable.
  2. Wizard Cap is non-transferrable, increased weight (from 150 to 400)
  3. Grim Reaper boss added (random dungeons)
  4. Dark Elf Boss, Glarielle, added to Elven Dungeon.

o.O 400 in weight,that is heavy for a mage.
Is grim reaper are boss for newbies dungeons or for high lvled players ???
Dark elf -> very nice it might drop shaya's bow or epm :o))

The idea of the heavy wizard hat is so you dont use it forever. They want it just to be a item you use while your a newbie. They want you to use other spells then just e-bolt and if e-bolt only costs 1mp what spell are you gunna use?

so they making this loa server better than all others? rpobably just so ppl will move to it and start new chars once the chars get higher lvl they wont want to go back then there will be more mops and less trades for everyone.... part good part bad

All that are complaining...SHUT UP! They placed these updates in so ppl would not abuse the Newbie Mage Cap's power. They want us to start out and get a feel for the new server, but they don't want us to abuse the items given by new items (i.e. skel boots and mage cap). I don't understand why they made skel boots non-transferable, but oh well, it will end constant camping of the skel boss on SI/HV. If you don't like the normal live servers not getting these updates, go lvl up on LoA and play there. The main reason this server will get updates Ken and Dep will not is because LoA is controlled by NCAustin and is a true US server not a freaking Korean Server Mirror.

LoA will rock, if NCAustin plays their cards correctly.

Elf boss is about the same "strength" as Baphomet. Mel or CaptSturm commented on this in the LoA boards.
