11/15 - Discoveries and Changes to LoA server

The following publishes were announced or discovered on the LoA server on 11/15:

Only the prices for the low quality gems have been changed. (CaptSturm - NC) [This was a mistake on our part -am]
The gem prices are lowered, but drops for those will be higher. Additionally, these gems will have a crafting purpose and be of more use than simply cashing in to a vendor. (CaptSturm - NC)
Other NPCs will generate tax revenue for the other castles--the dwarf was listed as an example. The balancing of castle revenue includes all the castles. (CaptSturm - NC)
Drops have been modified. (Melantus - NC)
Ring bug corrected. (Melantus - NC)
[LoA Server] is in fact a seperate server that will have content selectively applied--that is, if its deemed appropriate for the US market, [major updates will] be added. In the case of Forgotten Island, I anticipate that to be added. (CaptSturm - NC)

I noticed that the Moonstone ring now *does* require the Potion of Bravery, as stated by the NPC.

Two questions

1. can ppl play both servers(the new loa and the dep)or do we have to choose which we want to play on?(hope we have to choose)
and
2.the loa server on dec2 will be like dep and not test,so we wont have to worry about it being wiped right?(i cant wait.hehehehe)

LoA will be a legitimate server when betas done and they deem it fiscaly sound to open another server in a somewhat weak NA market,they also state a possibility of changing the existing (ken/dep) servers to LoA content.Thad b nice as youd keep your existing critz so maybe just maybe well be dusting of our mages.

Carnelian ring requires Potion of Bravery? hmm NPC asks for Lesser healing Potions ...
Drops have been modified? how so? I havent noticed much difference from ken.
Drops for lower gems about the same... only their prices suck now..so u cannot expect to make money selling em to shop :(
I am curious about the crafting purposes for the lower quality gems..apart from the newbie rings, anything?
Btw, apart from the Health Potion there is a "Weaker" Healing Potion on SI.

he gets 1/4 exp of wat normal (um. lvl 40ish?) players would get if they killed a monster 1vs1.

I got a saphire from a dwarf in HV so they may drop gems on rare occasions. Then again a player might have dropped it too.

Gem frequency has not increased. The Escaped Black Knights, which used to be a regular source of gems in HV, now drop nothing most of the time. They were severely nerfed. Most of the fun weakened monsters that had good drops have been removed from SI/HV. It is very hard to get even one gem to make any of the rings before you reach level 10 and are kicked out.

Even the last human on earth would be able to choose a better nickname then CaptSturm. CaptainStorm makes sense, but I'd like to hear the story behind why people call this NC employee CaptSturm.

I could be wrong thou, please tell me the meaning of that. Help me, Im so lost in this world an question where we are heading.

All I know is that the third world war will break out at the end of this year, and the fourth world war will be fought with axes and stones.

@#21: Sure would make it a better place to have. :) I often wondered why NC made Orc Fort only get funds from the slime races. I feel it should get it's cash from the store in OT and the vendors on TI.

if its fought with axes and stones that means that all the modern weps would have been destroyed...well seeing as almost everybody has a modern weapon within a mile of them...wouldnt all the people be destroyed too? and the smart ones that have shelters 10000000000000 feet under the ground have guns with them lol "funny you say that, if its fought with axes and stones how would the entire world be able to participate? the word wouldnt even spread " yea it would bcuz the world would consist of like...50 people

Im not gonna take away the glory of a great man that first said that sentence, I just remade it a little coz i couldn't remember the exact phrase.

Albert Einstein, the inventor of the mass destruction weapon knowned as blessed tsurugi or was it the atom nuclear physics explorations, geez i cant remember.

I advice most players to get some descent education instead of wacking your brain into small pieces with your sword.
