Death Knight set

Lineage Playforum reports (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1588) that a player on the Korean live servers (translated would be "ForeverStrong") has managed to collect all the pieces of the Death Knight armor set.

The Death Knight set has a -6 AC bonus when the whole set is worn. It is also +40 HP, +20 MP and allows you to regenerate MP even when you are overweight, but it is for knights only. It morphs you into DK when worn and the morph cannot be cancelled (but we assume that any other enchants would be cancelled).

However, it has an important disadvantage -- when it is worn, you will lose 5 HP every 20 seconds. So, it's an interesting trade-off for the fastest morph in the game :)

Wow! I wonder when the gloves will be released to the US Servers.

5 hp every 20 seconds? A small price to pay for that speed.. Besides, an 18 con knight can regenerate about that fast..

Regenrates that fast when underweight.. and since about noone goes out hunting underweight..so this is a nuisance. However, yeah the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages... lucky knights!

heck yea! awesome set for knights! maybe now since everyone is complaining they will release some sort of necromancer set for mages, or maybe Elindare Set.....

+40hp helps offset the hp loss and you can carry more pots too...b/c the body armor is only 250 weight! *sigh*

mmm....uncancelled dk....*drool*

wonder if mp regen is same rate as hp loss...

There are people do hunts underweight like me.I always and love to hunt with underweight.Just bring enough pots to last you 10mins(full spell enchants) or so, then back house get full enchanted,fire weapon wot ever spells u can put on and back to hunt again. This might be too much fuss if u do cave hunts

it won't battle
if u ever went afk while poisoned and a con knight
u'll see your HP always evening up with the poison

but this set sure is worth showing off to
plus can't be cancelled hehe
I want to see someone get a complete demon set
curious on the disadvantages though the morph itself sucks
cuz it is so slow

This set is way better then ever becoming 52. I mean, becoming 52 will be good for the extra levels, er, etc. But 5 hp per 20 seconds is so long. If the Knight had orc ammy, 50 hp belt, and dk set they are likely to have 700 hp. Even if they didn't gain life sitting in town, it would take more then 40 minutes to lose all the hp lol. This is a REAL good set.

i dont think someone would die again after respawning with 1hp with dk set on, unless they have a 20 second lag spike. And with ogrebelt + str spell(u can do this more often cause mp regens) u can hunt underweight easy. On test my knight can carry 100+ oranges and still be under.

And only a dumb player would go afk with dk set on, its not like its permenent, just unequip one part and you're fine.

As much as I would love a dark elf set of some sort....I would really prefer if they made some dark elf male morph. Wandering around as a woman isnt exactly what I would hope for when i reach lvl 52...but man...this is really gonna mess with peoples heads of who is lvl 52 and who isnt:)

I wonder what the down sides will be for the DE -set hmmm since NCI like to nerf things up i guess they gonna make us lose MP and HP in the same time or worst lower our Dex pnts when DE set is worn hohoho hahahaha ^^

In my opinion this set is too powerful, and undermines the point of the biggest goals in Lineage, which are killing dragons and leveling up to 52+. This thing sounds nice at first, but come on, this is ridiculous.

we already have many Dks now >.<, with DK sets many ppl will be Dks, imagine how would level 52 players would feel, all that time they spent to get the dk morph and be special than others, now its total set back hehehe

It would be more balancing if they reversed it and changed it to 20 HP loss per 5 seconds. =) Even so, this is an awesome set to use in sieges, considering you'll always be using pots anyways.

I guess the MP regen is to allow regular use of magic helms, such as HoM:P and HoM:S. Knights have no spells and don't otherwise need MP.

i see some good points here what if you really do die with it on then restart and you dont bother to pup any potions or whatever and the 20 second tick hits would it really kill you? o.O i see obviously flaws with this set just like other people wonder if the company thought of this stuff? otherwise looks like a great set hehe i want one :)

every1 and their dog will b a DK if dis update comes 2 US live... and u thot we were gettin alot of dk'z already... funny seeing as NC is alwayz tryin 2 even thingz out in lineage and even tho knight is bassically on da top of da food chain they still make it possable for a rich lev 10 to get DK morph wit sum sweet AC... i say fix da probz wit mage'z and prince(ss) b4 u go makin knights even more powerful then they already r...

if they didnt update knights 4 another 2 year'z chances r they will still b @ da top of da food chain its jus da way their made... maybe a dark elf set for elves would b koo... wit dark elf morph added of course... now dat would b koo

its not like all the items are common, and mages do have a set-demon-it has fast spell casting and my bet is that it has a big mp bonus...you guys are acting like we JUST found out about these sets...

Lineage PlayForum edited the article. The truth is bonus ac -4, no hp or mp bonus, mp regen while you are heavy, and lose 7hp every 6 seconds. Also cancel will cancel the morph (take off one of set and wear again will morph you to DK again). Afterall, DK set isn't that great. That guy who has DK set in korea tried to rip ppl off and sell his DK set. Very bad...-.-
I would rather level up to 52....-7hp per 6seconds...str knights with DK set will waste lots of pots...-.-
