ok... i dont post here much but let me say this. WraithFire has some good points but the problem is as said consistency. I dont really believe in people getting banned for the pandora incident because -
1)it was NC's fault for changing the price so stupidly without seeing the consequences that will result from the price change... which is not very hard to see.
2)The intentional price change was made and put into the live servers and therefore it even be considered a bug.. Sure people could buy and sell to gain profit, but isnt that just economics... its smart if you ask me. Although that wasnt the real intentions of the change, its nothing to ban many people for. All they had to do was change it back and maybe take away the profits gained from the "bug."
This is not my point tho... BECAUSE those people were banned for exploiting a "bug," the people that exploited this new bug should get the same treatment. Even tho the people may seem like having double standards... tahts not really the case because NC will definately not unban those people... all they really want some justice. If they were to be unbaned, im sure many of the people now saying BAN THEM.. will change there mind.
Of course they cannot ban everyone who used the bug since some were accidents, and some just wanted to try it out. But others who used it for there gain, like blocking off parts of hunting places... and getting exp should definately get banned. There was a real bug(not just some screw up by NC in there update), and these people intentionally used the bug benefit from it.
Think about it this way.. would it be fairer to ban some people for exploiting a bug and leave others alone for the same thing... Or Keep to there words of zero tolerance and ban these people as well?

I agree with the consistency thing, it's only fair to be able to understand consequences. On that note if NC is going to be consistent then everyone should put away the "Unban Them" titles because ppl would want NC to enforce their rules. The intentions of the Pandora exploit were to make money, this bug actually seems kinda funny to me and in my view shouldn't be a big deal with the obvious exception of ppl that intentionally made clones and killed them to get fast exp (that advancement is just as wrong as the advancement of money in the Pandora incident, I know that not much was made, but the INTENT was to make money). I just don't agree with this whole SoL conspiring with NC thing. I mean no one really has proof. People say they do, but they really don't. Honestly why would NC benefit from helping a specific pledge in their game? They are a professional business and if it doesn't benefit them, then why do it? I garuntee that no one in NC is in SoL, I think they could see problems with joining a pledge that powerful and getting rumors started. I mean really what's next? Wearing aluminum hats to keep NC from stealing ideas out of your head? How about smashing your TV because NC uses it to monitor your life? Or what about just adjusting your entire enjoyment of an online GAME and focussing on something that supposedly ruins the game for you, and in the end your paranoia does absolutely nothing constructive, doesn't change the game, and just takes the fun out of it? (Suprisingly people think this last one makes alot of sense)

What the heck is that? You can hack the peoples accounts who give you their account name and password. Doesn't take any special equipment, you just sign on.
Well, now my post looks weird since they deleated all the posts of that lineage hacking guy.....haha

I think the main thing everyone wants is consistency. I could be wrong, but its not very fair when people break the same rules and dont get treated the same. Whomever's side it may be.

Whoa everyone slow down, first off k1da i'm pretty sure you were banned for attempting to sell your account on ebay, at least thats what fca posted on their website with some incriminating ss's. Maybe they were made up, guess you should take that up with them.
Excon do you even know what your saying? flexy IS NOT SoL. Who are his ppl? Well I'll tell you one thing I would consider myself one of "those ppl" and I think you are whining too. Before, everyone talked about how they thought NC should lighten up and not ban the ppl for the Pandora bug. If someone really got lots of exp thats a big deal, but other than that this bug was even less harmful than the pandora bug. Blocking off fv isn't cool and ppl should be punished for that. This just shows that ppl's opinions about rules are greatly influenced by who the rules involve. You want NC to go easy on your ppl and be as harsh as they can be on your enemies. Contrary to your belief I'm not SoL either, I still do have friends there though; I'm just shocked about how ppl are still using title's "Unban Them" and posting on templar about how NC shouldn't be so strict and the second they think they have something on someone they don't like their whole mindset changes. If your beliefs change that easily they are not as strong and have less validity if you change your mindset so drastically in 1 months time.

Drathen your not a coward because you cancel someone when yuor in COI. It's a game and in a game you try to get any advantage over your opponent to defeat them. If using a COI to not show yourself does it then why shouldn't you do it?
