Belt of Titan

Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3295) reports that the new Belt of Titan is dropping in Episode 12.

The Belt of Titan weighs 50, is Knight only and has been dropped from Giants in the Twilight Mountains. However, the disadvantage is that when you wear it you are slowed.

Based on our calculations, you can't just undo it with a green. Slow reduces your speed by 25%, while hastes and braves increase it by 25% each. So, if you start at normal speed (100%) and wear the Titan's belt, you will be at 75% speed. Hasting yourself would put you at 94% and braves on top of that would put you back at 117%. However, a hasted, braved Titan's Belt wearing knight would still be slower than a knight on greens.

The advantage to this belt is that it seems to increase your carrying capacity by a full 250. (200 really since the belt weighs 50). A STR 18/CON 18 knight's weight went from 41% to 34% when equipped, and that's almost exactly a difference of 200 weight. More tests when it comes to the US and someone is nice enough to give us some info :)

Just spent some time experimenting with weight capacities. Turns out that the Decrease Weight spell increases weight capacity by exactly 180. I'm trying to collect people to help me get that info for Troll Belt and Ogre's Belt, but couldn't find anyone. If you want to help me, please let me know. It would involve either (a) letting me hold your belt (risky!) or (b) storing everything in storage except for your adena and using the patented Amer and Septonian Meat and Egg (TM) diagnostics.

Amer, I was looking at players on Linweb today. XDaComeOn, FirstClass, C3PO, and Knight are all listed as inactive, and Tuscani is active again.

Wierd knight - see his dex too, that's quite high. Wonder why of all stats, wis?!!

How high level can he be? His Magic Level is only 0...so at least 50 to counter the -1 a knight starts with...but does it go up every level after or just stay the same?

But then again going by his stat points...a normal knight starts off with 76 attribute points...and this guy has 88...so that would make him level 62...so we got his level...WHY IN THE HELL WISDOM? Does it increase your MR?

CHeck that...he has pg on so only level 60

yes wisdom gives mr, 18 wisdom elf withelven cloak and wisdom spell can get 100% mr easily without rings

what's his level -.-;
yoshiki, a knight min str is like 14, so can't be str spell, min dex is 12 so can't be dex spells neither.... and he was a 16 str/18 con knight o.o with p-g so it's 18/18 now....
it's like lvl 60 or something.... what's the min wis for a knight?

Wish level 50 was easier - just takes too much time. Would be lovely if you could begin adding stats at 45 or a bit later, so we could personalize characters more. Me for example, I dont have much time for another char... so I am stuck on my 47.7x int/wis mage... had I known, I would have chosen more con for a decent HP level - which would have made me able to hunt bosses. But al�s, I have no time to level up another mage, and he is fun to play...

It could be very well a knight that added to wisdom (in my opinion very stupid)

He might be an elf, but his magic lvl is zero. His stats dont make sense for any class. He has 9cha and 9int which shouldnt be possible, unless its rolled.

It's a rolled knight that has been dex up and added 8 points or so to wis. he is around lvl 57 on live server I believe this is.

I'm guessing the belt is used with the new trading system introduced in eps 12..where u can carry as many items as u want to other towns but cannot use any hastes...otherwise I dont see much more use for it except as a walking storage

Ok let me help everyone make the connection. Episode 12 is introducing a new
ecconomy. Remeber you can buy cheap in Woodbec and sell for profit in Oren (just an example). But to make the trip you can't tele, haste or brave. So the
Belt just makes the Knight a "mule" able to carry more sruff on the journey.

BTW the "mules" better pay out to get he protection from Elves and Mages o.o

The Character Has to be a Knight reasons...
Prince CANNOT HOLD Elven Shield .. so prince is out of pic
Mage cannot use Elven Chain Mail.. so mage is out
IT cannot be an elf cause magic lvl is 0
THUS IT HAS TO BE A KNIGHT cause a knight can wear all of the armor
that is shown in the pic and when u reach lvl 50 ur magic lvl becomes 0
and it doesnt change from that...
And Also it says taht the Titan Belt can only be worn by a "KNIGHT"
so that pic is wit a KNIGHT!!!!!!

I expect if u're at 48% weight and u wear that belt

u'll be at 3% weight

oh well.....my knight will become the ultimate storage..
as he already is now.....hehe

If you are at 48% weight and oyu wear the belt then you should go to 24%,
not 3 %

Check that, you should go to 1/3

Doomscythe, either your friend was lying, or just trying to impress you. Main reason why people are so high level on korean servers is because of the amount of time they play, not the amount of XP they gain in a certain amount of time... No matter where the heck you are hunting, 52+ is impossible in anything less than 1 1/2 months

he is not lvl 50 because he has only magic level 0, he is a knight, the belt is worse than a normal belt which you cannot use o.O

What's with this guy pretending to be 50+? He forgot to photoshop the magic level up to 1 like he ought to have. It should read "Magic Level: 1" and "Magic bonus: -1." Makes you wonder about the accuracy of the data. I mean, a drop of only 7% in weight for something that is supposed to decrease by 50%? What the heck is that? I say the entire thing shouldn't be taken seriously until some more of these things pop up and we can see what it REALLY does.

The ring is a mr ring. 5% or 10% im not sure what one. His dex is also very high for a knight. I think this pic is a fake. Unless this guy is a really high lvl but how high can u get on test server there. Do they never wipe it? why do they wipe ours than... That seems to do the same as troll belt except it slows you. Troll belt took me from 100% to about 87% i believe and when i had ogre belt it took me from 100% to like 75%. that belt is garbage. even troll is better. all kinds to wis and dex.. how high did this guy get o.0

Wisdom knight could be alrite in Oren tower and against Dragons. However Titan belt is probly for the new thing of transporting object from one place to another for the ep.12. cuz we all kow thats it gonna be heavy al those items... so its another way to carry more stuff...

anyway just a guess

the fact that this knight is even proud of it by typing a smile... is even worse then looking at his stats. He,s actully wearing it too !!!! he,s Sick in the head..... i think NC made this as a Collecters item :) or it would be for a quest :D or its component for making an item :D cuz its to sucky to be a real item... il rather wear a -500hp belt then this thing !!!iewww ! get it away !!

For those of u who say how come it dropped 7-10% wen it was 50% weight reductioin belt.
I think the 10%, 20%,50% weight reduction is calculated differently.
and not a just subtracting theory.
I have a ogre belt..
And at different weight.. u lose differnt amount of %
wen i was at 100% weight with pots..
I can put on ogre belt and goto 79 or 82% -_-
But wen i wear it at like 55 or 48% it drops only a lil lower.
So i believe, if he tested how effectively the 50% belt can hold at 100% weight
u guys would have a whole new comment about it.

Even though it can carry alot, the slowed part is just nuff to throw this belt to the trash can. Or like wut others have posted, Put it on a mule kaka~

no no the belt sux just because it offers the lowest carrying cappacity and it even slows you a lot. If you want a mule make a lvl 5 prince and his BP storage.
so there is absolutly no use for this belt. His stats are strange because he is not lvl 50+ look at his magic lvl ... 0 that's what lvl 1-49 knights have
