I think they're building up the event rather than just throwing something out - with the number of people that complain every time, giving it a bit more of a padding out in this way may reduce it, may get people complaining about how much buildup there was for the event, blah blah blah... I think it's a good thing. Thank you for the stories NC, keeps it from being a simple hacknslash, much more interesting with all this.
