1/22 - Korean Test PvP siege

Lineage Playforum did a report (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3404) on the second Aden siege (the first one on PvP servers).

There are still problems with the Aden siege system. Players were able to walk through gates which were supposed to be unpassable, no one was teleported out of the castle when a pledge took over and various other smaller issues.

The siege ended in 4 minutes -- players went straight for Ken Rauhel, steering very clear of Cerenis. They compare her to a dragon and if she decides that you are the next one to die, there's really not much you can do about it. However, you don't need to kill her to win, so why bother?

Also, the tax system is not working (and it's unclear about how it will work, anyway). Still bugs to work out. :)

What would really be cool is if you don't beat Cerenis, but u end Ken and take the castle, Cerenis defends the castle with the new prince!!

Actually what would be cool is if when the siege ended, Cerenis was teleported back to town, goes to buy pots and then starts to siege the castle. :)

i came back just to hunt all the new places,
and don't care much about the new castle.
i say bring on e12, and just delay the first
siege of Aden till the bugs are worked out.

The reason for putting Cerenis in siege are:

1) Slaughter the players
2) I think it drops the Cerenis set which was posted earlier on LC
3) Help protect Ken Rauhel

If the players can kill Ken Rauhel in 4 minutes to end the siege without having to take down any towers or kill Cerenis then NCSoft will have to make changes. One obvious change is to put Cerenis out defending the four towers and have Ken Rauhel standing by the central tower in the area that cannot be entered or targeted until all four outer towers have been taken down. That way they have to take down the four towers before they can kill Ken Rauhel, during which time they will be under attack by Cerenis. I also would expect Ken Rauhel to get a bodyguard of Court Guards or even City Guards to protect him, similar the a real situation with a defending pledge. It sounds to me like Ken and Cerenis were the only defenders.

All I have to say is that Cerenis set better be worth the deaths she deals out. I see the set being at least -7ac and enchantable, +50hp, +50mp, +10 to SP, and meditation like mp regen ahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!! NOT!!!! NC will never give Mages anything really useful >.<

Guys click on the link and wait for the page to load then go down the gif after the one shown here is cerenis casting meteor shower. 3 huge fireballs hit the ground in different places and I see many knights die and skeleton morphs crumble its awesome.

OMG... Let the bodies hit the floor!!!! They should make Cerenis stick close to Ken. Whoever attacks Ken gets smashed on by Cerenis... Can't wait to see how many people end on US servers... I'll be ROFL... Better start lvling hard so U have an exp cushion. Maybe Cerenis will drop the Meteor Shower book. I wonder how much that'll sell for??? Umm, buying lvl 4 scrolls!!!!!!!!!!
