elvenshield gives to elf only this better for mr set for knight better than sks which was a quest item.

#15 Elven Shield also gives MR, so this isn't the only one -_o (you're right about the mage/knight/prince part tho^^)

a few things that are unique about this shield.
it is the only shield that gives mr on LOA.
it is the ONLY shield that gives mr for PRINCE, mage, and knight (if your on loa)
silver knight sheild is knight only on dep and ken, is +4mr, and is heavier.
having this shield for a little while has made me curious as to what the range is on Magic resist for when para starts to fail frequently for a 20int mage with sos and a wis pot going.
I currently don't have the cash to go past 79% mr, on my knight, but I would greatly appreciate a reporting piece on the effectiveness of mr against the most commonly used pk/siege spells, cancel always works right?, but when does silence, slow, para, freeze,
weapon break, decay pot start to fail?
i have seen a mage have trouble with landing para on a knight who was wearing 84% mr
but i don't know what int that mage was.
comments would be great, but a solid chunk of research by someone who has the gear to test would be really appreciated by me.
I personally feel that magic resistance is going to become more and more important on loa, with the new bosses they keep adding, but also with the coming of episode 13, and
the new toi where peopel wil be able to run into packs of ifrit.

it should drop more often. -.-
and maybe have the ability to rarely paralize the attacker/mop for a few secs.

LOL flys i SO AGREE with you that would be soo cool or maby a realy strong wep like anc sword but you can up it but it does slite damage to you not just masive to the target
