ToI - levels 41-50 |
NewsPos also mentioned a few other pieces of information about the new ToI. There are always stairs leading from floor 5 to floor 6, however, there are never stairs leading from a 10th floor in a set to the next floor. However, the scrolls that you need can drop from any monster. For example, you don't have to be on floors 31-40 to get a Teleport to 41f scroll. You could be extremely lucky and get a 41f scroll from 2f.
NewPos also mentioned that the 6th floor was inserted by the developers as a place to park your character in case you needed to pause your hunting for a few moments. For example, if you need to go get some food, put your character on the sixth floor and go eat ;)
Finally, the Mutant Ungoliant and Mutant Ramia can't see morphed players, so getting into ToI should be a nice easy transition for players who have never tried it before.
And now, the finale of the new ToI monsters:
Levels 41 - 50 (http://www.newspos.com/Content.asp?tb=bnews&ob=news&seqs=38&page=1&pb=N)
One player, Greysword, sold all his items so he could buy two Level 41 scrolls for the reporter to use and bring us this report. They went with a group of players, but who made it to 50? Let's find out..
41 - lava ghost (~level 45)
42 - has Scary Iron Golem (a stronger Iron Golem, but still slow)
43 - adds Lesser Dragon
44-45 - same as 43, with more mops
46 - Rest.. You'll need it.
47 - Lava Necromancer, pretty much the same as a regular Necromancer (strength and drops)
48 - Much more difficult, lots of Bone Dragons and Lesser Dragons. They used all their Counter Magic scrolls and made a run for 49...
49 - Only two of them survived (Greysword and the reporter). This level was much like 48, so another run for 50.
50 - The reporter was alone now, Bone Dragons, Lava Necromancer, Lesser Dragon and Lich, in his new home, level 50.
