LoA takes Aden

As we wait for NC to collect their thoughts as they recover from E3, I'll post a slightly old (6 days) but momentous event in the history of LoA for those of you aching to discuss something. :)

On Wednesday, May 14 at 8:38PM CT, Best of Lineage BP won Aden Castle, for the first successful Aden siege in the history of LoA server.

Both Sovereign Of Aden, lead by zTheBestElfZ and the Kismet BP, led by Prince Kismet where also going for castle and combined forces to create a great army of Cubes & attackers.

Says Guru Kismet, prince of Kismet BP, "When we saw BoL was there, we decided to help & just go for it and who gets the castle, gets it.

Ending Cerenis & Ken was our Goal and making history on LOA. The castle was always unimportant.

Everyone did an excellent job & congrats to everyone in all the Pledges."

Good job indeed! BoL BP has also been spotlighted by reporter ShiftyEyes, so check that out too. :)

Ya Aden makes money -.-;;;. Doesn't Ken and Cerenis siege every day since the time they lose castle? I just saw Kiss and BoL duke it out for Weldern and i dun have time to watch the rest of the siege.

GJ ^^ ummmm amer.... if you havent already doen it and i cant find it or you dont have it on this place add a section for loa, for loa items,mops whatever it would make loa peeps allot happier takes too much effort just to find out how much a loa only weapon does for dmg and how much loa armor does for ac (no global on loa) if you dont think its a waist of time you should look into it ty

Kuddles, come to LoA and see how real of a server it is. Just cause ken or dep came first doesnt mean they are the only so called "real" servers. Drops on LoA are the same, exp is the same, ac cap gone though for mages and elves and princes but its still as challenging as Dep or Ken.

dont pay them no mind, the truth is our server is the real server... our server is the one thats being updated for the better, each update makes the game more fun.
they can talk about how theres never any sieges in "there real server" and how 1 sided there "real server" is, and lets talk about how no one bu +50 players get drops on there "real server"... plzzz get REAL

it's useless to argue about what server is the best...
just play the server that you prefer to play, the gameplay doesnt really change.
i prefer ken, because my friends play it too...

will be decades before someone gets a complete ken/cer set.....

loa is missing the bonuses for the classes
I don't really like the updates for it either so I hope they never bring loa updates on to dep and ken
but loa is a real server now
u play whatever server interests u
u can see the rise of lvl 50+ chars
soon there will be more than enough goats and dks running around
getting all the boss drops and becoming rich
and then, getting rich in another way.....

The screenshot doesn't really show the true 'army of cubes'. When we first moved in there were a lot of cubes ... I'd say 50+. Granted many of the cubes died, but it was still cool to see the final assult on Ken. People all around hitting him and pumping potions with 15-20 cubes attacking him as well and that was just the ones I could see from where I was at.

not many died not sure on the first attack but on the 2nd round when we had to defend I think only 2 people died I dont think any from BOL did just some little noob elf that walked in and ebolted cer while me and teck were talkin about what to do then next thing I know my cm gets used and bliz bliz and me and teck run up to the castle then metor and then I went back saw the elf dead that ebolted her and think I saw 1 more person might of been a kismet member or some one else

but other then that no one died dont think anyone died to the greif mages after cer and ken were beat I would have to say it was a clean quick victory ^_^

Cer ended in less then 1 min when our knights launched the attack I only saw 1 metor spell before she died ken took about 2-3 mins pretty strong but still not strong enough ^^ lvl 50 water elfs help so much hehe

#14, Bushido, I was present at the first siege on Ken (member of one of the 16 pledges that declared), and I was present at this siege on LoA (member of one of the pledges that declared as well). So I am in a position to compare the two.

In the LoA siege, Ken ended about ten times faster, and that was with far far fewer people hitting him. Maybe 1/8 as many people, or even 1/10. So in that respect, I would say the LoA siege demonstrated far more firepower than the (relatively weak) victory won on the Ken Raheul server. Or perhaps it was superior strategy. Either way, Cerenis & Ken ended sooooo fast on LoA compared to how long it took on Ken server.

Woot! Hi all! =:)

Members mentioned to me of a question that needed a reply here:

Q: no 6, "Kismet BP has house.. how can they get a castle?"

A: I have two Lev 45+ Princes one is for house & one is for seige / deathmatch. Thus why we could move everyone from both pledges into single pledge of my non-house prince, delcare and go all out attack. Worked well, =;). Many pledges use this technique, since the ally command still needs some work. *hint hint*

Q: No 31. "... kismet member or some one else ..."

A: This seems to be refering to who died and not Kismet member as greifer. I'd suggest to everyone who doenst like griefers to get a screen shot and send it into NC to have this fixed in the future. I'd like to see the ablity to heal/haste boss's removed to eliminate this type of play.

Was lots of fun, thats what LOA does, makes the game fun again! Great work to the LOA team at NC.

Cancel and stealing mops.. for that you are right.. that's bad .. but there's nothing wrong with pking la.. it's kinda normal.. it's so fun to pk.. when you blow items and nothing work, it a good way to evacuate your frustration lol at least for me ^^, that's what a friend of mine did one time .. on test -.- it was babyblu.. -.- we didn't knew that she was that cute.. but after that they used to help each other so we can find a way to get friend by pking hehe
