This won't last long, so enjoy it while you can. DE seems to be focussed primarily on having good str and dex, and some of that magic looks like it could really mess someone up combined with thier invisibility. In fact, it seems like low hp is about the only weakness that the DE was going to have - with these items, would they not become a super class?

#4: This is what the Dark Elf class is be competitive with the other classes.
#5: I doubt that's in the plan, no other classes were announced in the next 6 releases, so I doubt within the next 3 years.

no matter waht items they put in (unless they put in a 200hp item), nothing will change the fact that as a dark elf you will die so much that youll want your 12 con mage back......

Do you REALLY think characters with 500 hp and already high ac should get something to make up for the hp-less dark elf's extra ac?
