Lineage 2 Screenshots

Amateras, Aerrimus and I took lots of screenshots in Korean closed beta. We started uploading them to the screenshots section. Our characters were:

amer, Dark Elf Mage
minnow, Human Fighter
Roemius, Elf Fighter
arinna, Dark Elf Fighter
Balin, Dwarf Fighter
Herc, Orc Fighter (sorry we took your name, HERC, I wanted a kick-butt fighter!)
Elsie, Orc Mage

We didn't level them up very far because we were busy collecting data (which we've updated the site with too, if you haven't noticed.) Still more to write down including a few pages I've been writing as a little diary of the first few days of playing. Hope you enjoy!

Lineage 2 Compendium Screenshots

Note: All the screenshots were done on a Radeon 9000 Pro in Balanced or High Performance mode. The movies were done on a Radeon 9000 Pro in High Performance mode stepped down to 800x600 and cropped to the upper left 640x480 (that's all that the movie program supported). So, don't look at these as an indication of what it can do on a really good card tweaked for Quality :)

Oh my... the Herc ss is just kick ass... the shadows..... the scenes.. perfect
Wow that's one huge totem in orc town, very cool.

amer: put some shots in quality o.O.. does lin2 have resolution settings up to say... 1600x1200?

That movie of the elf fighter against the orc is really nice. I notice he is using some kind of special attack though, isn't he? I also noticed he almost died from fighting it hehe

Wow that's cool guys - Any chance of a write up of how your characters play? I'm really curious on how dark elf mages play different to orc mages and such.

Oh and I only noticed the updated menu to the left, loadsa items some worth 20mil plus! From the store! :D

Pesht: Yes, that's a very basic skill. And the Kaboo orc is very strong for a player of that level.

Scaleb: On it's way :) And the 20M items are from some kind of luxury item store.

To the menu on the left.. nice updates but omg... they so took my idea of accessories such as earrings when I was talking in pledge chat o.O
Good thing they don't have anklets and bracelets yet

I assumed that orc was a tough creature to beat for his level, since he got about 20% of his level with that one kill too hehe

umm... i noticed all the item weps and armos are fricken expensive.. are the adena drops in lin2 alot better? cause frick 27m.. omg

amer i have a radeon 9000 pro 128mb, with 512mb ram and an xp1700+, is my pc anything near what you used, and if it was how was the playability at higher res, cause i wanna see if my card can handle lin2 well, or ill just start saving for another one, thx in advance :) .

forciano: That's fine. I had 32MB on my 9000 Pro, so you'll probably have better results.

SoulKnightz: Money isn't that great, but I found a Brandish and was way too strong for a newbie. The 27M sword would be around or beyond Ancient Sword for Lineage 1.. You don't need that starting out..

i think that if your able to play UT2K3 you'll be able to play lin 2 just fine cuz its pretty much bulit around the UT2K3 engine.
