5/28 - Server Reset

All US Lineage servers will be brought down for a maintenance reset on Wednesday, May 28th at 10:00 AM CDT. There will be no new content published at that time; however, we will be concluding the Lost Treasure Week event during the maintenance period.

i got a lot of nice stuff, fur meat and lump is nice right? doesnt seem like drop rate was increased that much but i guess a .05% increase in the rare items IS a drop increase, right?

Very cool event. It was nice having pots, btele, nzel, ndai, gems dropping 2x. I didn't hunt for super rare items, since as some have said: rare times 2 = rare (a little less so, but don't delude yourself).

yay event over. while i did get over 300 braves from the ant caves, it was only because the other areas were so crowded i had to outcast myself to the ant caves.. heh...

i was very happy to see an event but it was all a fake event this was the normal drop rate we used to get months ago like 6 or more, i used to get the same exact rate so they change it to a sucky rate and put it back and call it an event, same as valakas and if you got a good drop it was coming ur way anyways the event didnt do anything i rather get a poly event over a lie coz at least i will get more exp and save pots with DK , so NC if u wanna make us an event upload the hiene files and we be happy or atleast poly but plz never this mambo jumbo lie of an event. u say if we give u an increase it will ruin the econmy whats? we should have fun the hell with the econmy and i read dont forget to explore the life away from ur modem >_< whats that all about? we have to wait for bosses and hunt days and weeks to get a single good drop and u say dont waste time >_< i suggest u do a poll and see how affective did this event or vote for kind of events , as much as am mad am a big fan of the game and i thank all ur effort to improve this game but sometimes the ppl have to speak and u have to listen. i know whatever am saying might go in one ear and out the other but at least am trying.

I thought the event was pretty lame... then I hunted for an hour and got 2 cancel SB's... guess my complaints will be on hold. Have to admit I liked this one, although I still prefer poly events.. I just like the head-banging-against-the-wall style of melee powerleveling. :)

i get 2x's the hbows and 2hs from fv, and i also got a bzel and a few nzels. this event is pretty good, its normal.we got one good drop event(heines) that ruin the the eco of dep and now we think all events should be as good as that

Oh well, hope we get an event soon on Loa ^^

Ok but seriously... they shouldn't "conclude" this event, this is how drops should be. A little bit better, but nothing to unbalance the game! For me, I only got more magic gems, btele and stuff... no big stuff :/

Oh and nother thing, some ppl got like ogre blood or b2s and say: NICE EVENT!
It's just luck u got it... has nothing to do with this event, really o.o
(got b2s in 5 min b4 event^^)

Ants do not normally give 100k adena per hour. FV does not normally give 60k per hour. This event is definitely an event.

Too bad my internet is acting up, and I can't make more money right now.

Yeah, so-and-so's got a point...

We do tend to give credit to all the good drops as "event drops" but I'm sure quite a bit of the "uber" drops would have dropped anyway... we just don't publicize it as much.

thats on LOA right? dont wanna disrespect the server coz i have good friends there but ppl who couldnt make it on DEP went there because its easier. got the key word? EASIER bzel is 300k there on dep it hit 600k on one point so i guess u had a high drop rate in the first place so when they double it that was the result congrats anyways u worked for it and u got it ^^

bzel 450k and same with bdai..
Natures bless 5-9mill.. even seen Ancient scroll bids as high as 16mill now,
played over 3years of lineage all servers together. i wont say LOA is easier, its different. we still get cheap drops off bosses, die in insane massakres and so on ;)

only "easy" i know is the 2 extra bosses wich made me millions..

Event was pretty good. As was said before, 2 x rare = rare... just because you diden't end up with ogre blood or something does not mean the rest of us didnt' get rich. To avoid the crowding, I hunted mid lvl areas rather than just bosses and ogres and such, and got a lot more than usually would drop. XP sucked, but I got rich(er) :D

ppl who complain about not getting anything from "event"...i ask where did u hunt and how much u played per day? if u hunt areas where mops don't drop zels/dais, etc.. then during event they are still NOT gonna drop them. also i'm betting these ppl who got several good items played alot and were able to take advantage of the slight increase.

this was also a good point made, rare items are still dropped rarely. :)

i don't believe in poly events. i think they are a slap in the face to the high lvl peeps who work hard to have that feature. i don't find i lvl any faster either, just puts more ppl into my hunting area. they are great if u were looking for a way to boost lvling time for low lvl character.

i believe this was the best type of event b/c increase drops pertained to all mops. this meant all lvls could benefit and in comparison to an event like heine which was only one area. what if u don't like hunting heine and the crowds of ppl can get ridiculous?

i'm curious if the players who hunt bosses almost exclusively noticed a significant difference?

very correct.. i went where i like to hunt normaly and where they basicly drop everything from ropc,rotc,sc,zel,dai,bdai,bzel,books.. actualy i was jsut hoping so badly to get Blizzard.. ended up with everything ELSE then blizzard ;)
during increased drop event its prolly best FI,ToI,FV,DVC and bosses.
