Episode Nine Additions |
(We've already seen alot of these, but it looks like the wanted to make one big summary of changes since Episode 8 for us):
The following changes will be included in the Lineage: Episode Nine publish scheduled for Tuesday, October 23rd.
Guards and guardians will not interfere with PvP in a “free-pk” zone
Fixed a bug where players became silenced when trying to talk after dying
Haste has been changed back to original system where it accumulates up to 1 hour
During a siege, Attacking parties in castle siege must destroy the Guardian Tower in front of the inner castle, and the leader of the Bloodpledge must take the crown located inside. Only members of the Bloodpledge that declared war may attack the Guardian Tower.
During a siege, The glass case holding the crown may only be destroyed by the prince/princess of the declared Bloodpledge at war may do this.
The “Combat Zone” in front of towns has been removed.
The number of rangers across the land has been reduced
The weight of green potions has been reduced
The obscenity filter will be set ‘on’ by default and may not be disabled. Intentional attempts to circumvent the obscenity filter may result in account suspension.
The /lang feature is being disabled.
Quest items will no longer be transferable to other characters. Additionally, they will be classified as “auto-loot”
Players will no longer be able to polymorph to ‘small’ monsters such as frogs and crawling claws.
Using the Scroll of Polymorph will open a window listing available polymorph options.
The Buddy system has been added. Clicking on the “buddy icon” will provide a menu for party, friend, and bloodpledge options.
The amount of adena a user may carry has been raised to 200 million
Some additional monsters are now available for polymorphing:
- Above level 40 polymorph
- Cyclops
- Dark Elf
- Griffon
- Cockatrice
- Ettin
- Above level 45 polymorph
- Dark Elder
- Green Necromancer
- Purple Necromancer
- Blue Necromancer
- Beige Necromancer
- Above level 50 polymorph
- Above level 51 polymorph
- Above level 52 polymorph
Enchanted staffs of mana will now steal more mana when used successfully
Players will now be able to see the hit points of their pets
Baphomet will now banish players from his room immediately upon spawning.
Additional information has been added to the Help system.
Players will now be able to choose their own stats when creating new characters, using a set of numbers to apply to the desired stat.
The action window is now implemented.
The Shift-Up key combination will now scroll back through recent commands.
A ‘total adena’ line has been added to buying and selling items.
Gaining a level now provides a visual effect.
