On Saturday, December 8th between approximately 2:00 AM CST and 12:00 PM Noon CST, the Lineage service experienced significant interruptions due to hardware failures at our server housing location. Due to a number of circumstances, NC Soft was not quickly informed as to the nature of the issue, was not able to resolve the issue in an acceptable time frame, and in turn, did not provide that information to our customers in a timely manner on this website.

The hardware issue involved a switch failure at the service provider level and was fully resolved by them around mid-day Saturday. The affect on the service may have caused resultant lag and intermittent disconnects on the server during that time.

We would like to apologize to any customers who experienced interrupted or inadequate gameplay on Saturday. In addition to escalating this issue to our service provider, we will be reviewing and updating our communication procedures to assure that this sort of lapse does not occur again.
