LordCutter's Chritmas present to us

At about 5:30pm ET - 6:00pm ET. LordCutter (QA Lead) gave us a little Dragon Fight event on the US test server: Antharas vs. Fafurion! Basically, Fafurion sent Antharas hiding into the ground as everyone on global called Antharas a coward. LordCutter appeared (to save the day of course), and basically let Fafurion know who's the boss. (Helps to be invincible). After killing Fafurion, LordCutter pulled Antharas out of the ground, toyed with him for a bit (he had to drop alot of stuff because he was overweight from the autoloot on Fafurion). He then morphed into a DK, hasted and braved himself and killed Antharas. (DK is *fast*, it was unreal). Then he showed us all the drops. LordCutter was a knight, but could cast spells like Tornado and Ressurection. ^^

Here's a list of drops (both combined): around 100 each of: D, Q-D, T-Q-D, T-Q-R, Magic Gems. Then 2, CPM, 4 Tsurugi, 1 STR ammy (no INT ammy?), 1 Tornado, 1 Blizzard, 1 Resurrection, 1600k, and a few each of Haste, V-T, DEX, Create Zombie.

Then, he summoned a bunch of slimes to eat it up. And then proceeded to nuke the slimes with meteor strike:

ah i was there, i had to "inform" the irc of it (inform by shouting "OMG DRAGONS, CANT TALK MUST WATCH") lol ^_^

The christmas mops and NPCs are awesome but this takes the cake. It was awesome well worth the price of the arena ticket. I wish they let the whole Test Server fight both Dragons or a bunch of bosses for fun.

besides the fact of being invincible, how many people does it take to actually kill one of these dragons...? I've heard stories that it takes nearly 30 lvl 40+ guys. Is it true or do my eyes decieve me?

actully, i didn't see any t-q-d's, just a lot od diamonds and a few q-d's, there were a LOT more t-q-r's.

i saw 1 tqd, and no fist... its not true.... it killed like 100 45+ players.

I've only heard of one killing for Antharas from a friend that was in the hunting party, it is insane how tough these mops are. Not only do you need allot of very tough players, you also need to attack with some sort of a plan. Think along the lines of dragon = siege.

u need to have 20 mages taming cyclops, de, skel archer and other high lvl mops, while those mons hit it u have to have lvl 49 con knights distracting it by let it hit them with its front feet (200 dam each time)

lol...it would be funny if 40 ppl actrually kill a dragon...
and 35 ppl get nothing...~.~
