Antharas, your time has come!
As a proper Lineage "welcome back" to Antharas, attempts on the life of Antharas have been made several times today on Dep server. Below, an attempt where the Elven Kings pledge tries to take out Antharas, followed by some encouraging words by the GM!

And then another attempt later in the day:

With some strategy and coordination, this *can* be done. More attempts are happening all the time.

Wow, i am in their awe! i wish i had been playing on dep at the time i would have ran my ass down to f7 to help out whether to res or not. i hope htey do something like this on test :)

It was really cool down there, i was attacking antaras, taking screenshots and trying to avoid to be killed, then Antharas was chasing me and I didnt see anyone else so i teleported, fun was it !

antharas has been killed on test server... it took 20 knights and about 20 million adena on condenced clears.. noone died

It looks to me like people are attacking EACHOTHER in those pics...I mean, check out the skeleton in mid-attack, and then look at the mage getting c-l'ed...

easy way to kill antharas........

1 knight lvl 52+ in death knight morph with +9 dragon slayer with -100 ac with 300 condi clear potion and get like 10 other knight to carry 300 condi clear each and when the guy whos fighting it runs out of clear he says something then one of them drop all there condi clear on ground and then the guy with -100 ac +9 ds continues his fight untill he or antharas is dead =) i say this could take about 20 min max ^_^

I just died twice to that big oaf. I find it a lots of fun while I'm still low level and the exp is easy to get back. I hit him once (or at least took a swing)

lol valakas is 50% more life than antharas and has doubl ac.. :( have u ever tried to kill sea dancer without magic? I can either hit it xD valakas is almost same ac, 4 times more lvl and 100 times more life!!!! O_o

More realistic fight. Lets have someone give a level 1 knight +8sword -45 ac and let him 1:1 a level 48 chaotic knight with +8sword and -45ac. Same deal

Let me just get my mage to, oh, say lvl 58 with -60 ac and summon? then we wil talk about me going ANYWHERE near anth....lol you would need about 20 lvl 52 mages and 20 lvl 52 knights to bring that sucker down, unless you have good cordination (Pshh, working together on us server? Hell i'll freeze over first!)

You Really wanna know how to kill it??Get about 20-30 mages.....something around there..preferably ones with high spell power........then go in ghast morph...haste urself.....and launch constant ebolts......each ebolt does about 10dmg.....if sp is average.....and think about it...ghast morph shoots about 2ebolts per second....600dmg every couple seconds, I've given this alot of thought=)

You have no need for lvl '52' chars if you have good strategy.....ac matters nothing against him......summon won't do anything, and knights are useless...unless they hope to maple him to a rabbit or sumthing =)good luck...........anyways...won't take much just a couple mages and elfs...and its worth the hastle to co-ordinate, because think how sweet it will feel holding a fresh new tsurugi or coi or...well ANYTHING!!good luck cuz i quit lineage

To anyone who went and tried to end Antharas, Good Luck. Stop wasting your time, after dying 20 times if you manage to kill Antharas.. I doubt that you will get any drops. The drops will be stolen by some newbie who just got there and took all your effort and worthless tries of killing Antharas and massive loss of experience.

heres a thought about killing valasak ...

get like 80%+ mr set and test if it does any good to protect u agiants his metior strike ... if so then u might just have a chance cause his ER is low or something.... i had my lvl 1 mage there and took him 7 swing to hit it -_-;

so i guess knights can do it better then anyone els o.O

i agree with the energy bolt idea, that is the only way to kill the dragons and it is quite obvious. But as said before, this is the US server, everyone plays for greed and will not work together. *waiting for hell to freeze over*

in the HK server, their GM haste and healed the dragon
and summoned tons of succbus and suc queen to 7th dvc
well it gotta be gm's work , no one else can do such thing
but it seems like they're better at killing the dragon better than us -____-

You can freeze the bosses, Bapho can be frozen, Death Knight can be frozen, we just don't have enough mp or spellpower currently to do often. When my newbie mage had just a single dog , I would hunt Bask , drag it to the forest edge , put the dog on defend , Icelance , Icelance , then Bask is frozen and repeat as needed.

get 30 mage in ghast morph and try ebolting a single con knight with good mr set and 600+ hp and see for yourself ..... if he dont die after pumping only 10 clear pots then the ebolting thing gonna be useless on the dragons as well....... just test it for yourself and find out how stupid ebolting those dragon are.....

elfs have wafer to run faster now =) get 40 dex elfx with +7 or better bow =) and shoot it to death and dont bother bringing more then 10 clear pots cause youll die in 1 or 2 hits -_-; so save all ur inventory space and weight for ur arrows and shoot those dragon to death .... dont try this with valakas though cause he use long range attacks -_-;

NOW I HAVE GIVEN OUT THE SECRET !! GOOD LUCK TO U ELF'S WHO IS WILLING TO TRY !

IT, dragons do not have 99% mr and energy bolt does not do 1 damage to them. If they had 99% mr, then how come people have successful hits with eruption? If you say they aren't hitting the dragon, why does the dragon stop in its tracks when its chasing someone, turn around, and then kill whoever erupted it? Energy bolt does more than 1 damage, because it does not cost 1mp to cast. IT, I would just like to know what grades you have in your elementary school.

I'm in agreeance with ReDeeMeR. IT, you are pretty stupid yourself. All you do is critize what other people have to say their suggestions and what they have experienced when fighting the dragons. You think your ideas are so great, yet where are they at? What do you have to contribute to these meaningful discussions? Nothing. So next time instead of going to lineagecompendium.com and reading these posts and just bashing what other people say take a nap or put your teething rings back in your mouth and when you grow up a little then maybe come back here and add something useful.
